THE PILE-UP

Three places at once is two places too many.

The fight runs from a PDF, a notepad, and a sticky note for who is Frightened. None of it is on a screen the table can see, so every state change gets narrated aloud, twice. By round three the DM has stopped running drama and started stage-managing bookkeeping. The pile-up clears when everything lives in one place. On your screen, and on theirs.

The round in front of your table.

Open the Player View on the TV, a tablet, or every player's phone. All in sync, all showing active turn, visible conditions, and health states. No one asks whose turn it is. No one needs to.

The fight on your screen. The round in front of your table.

The tracker holds every actor: initiative order, current HP, conditions at a glance. Click any combatant and the full stat block opens at your hand: actions, reactions, and AC, when you need them.

Roll behind the screen. Reveal when it lands.

The dice tray keeps rolls private by default. Flick the switch and the next result lands in the Player View, in front of the table, like dice on the wood.

THE TURNWARDEN EXTENSION

Pull monsters straight from D&D Beyond into your library.

The TurnWarden Extension takes a stat block from any D&D Beyond monster page and lays it down in your grimoire: one click, ready for the encounter. Restricted to dndbeyond.com by design. Prefer JSON? Anything matching the import format works: published adventure exports, homebrew sheets, your own scripts.

BUILT FOR THE TABLE

Built for D&D 5.5e — and the systems beside it.

The 2024 rules come first: every condition is ready out of the box, stat blocks slot in without massaging, and the round structure matches how your encounters actually run. The systems beside it work the same way at the table, so the instrument stays useful there too.

QUESTIONS

Common questions before the first session.

Common questions before the first session. Pricing, refunds, system support, the Player View, and the Extension. The full set lives on the FAQ page.

  • What if I want a refund?
TurnWarden includes a 60-day money-back guarantee. No questions, no forms, no pressure. If the tool does not fit the DM's table within the first 60 days, contact support at support@turnwarden.com and the refund is processed in full. The guarantee applies to both subscription plans and the Founding Wardens offer.
  • Where does my TurnWarden data live?
TurnWarden stores encounter and library data on Supabase, hosted in the US region. Each account's data is isolated: rooms, combatants, libraries, and sessions belong to the DM who created them. The DM's data is not shared with or visible to other accounts.
  • How do players see what is happening?
Each room in TurnWarden has it's own Player View: a separate URL the DM shares with the table. Players open the URL on a tablet, TV, phone, or second browser tab. The view updates live as the DM advances turns, changes HP, or applies conditions. The DM controls all input; the Player View is read-only.
  • Which sites does the TurnWarden Extension work on?
The TurnWarden Extension currently works on D&D Beyond monster pages. On a supported page, the Extension extracts the stat block as JSON. The DM then imports that JSON into the TurnWarden library. Support for additional sites is on the roadmap and will follow the same import-via-JSON pattern.
  • How do I contact the maintainer?
Reach support at support@turnwarden.com. Founding Warden subscribers also have access to a founding-only Discord channel; the maintainer reads every message there and responds directly. For general questions, email is the right path.
